Chef Robert Robinson

Robert grew up honing his skills by watching his mother and father prepare family meals with meticulousness and care. As an adult, Chef Robinson found cooking to be therapeutic and often opened up his own home to family & friends to enjoy the fruits of his labor.

 

After studying Culinary Arts at Joliet College, Robert Robinson embraced his passion and persued his dreams of becoming a chef. Early in his career, Chef Robinson cooked for the holidays and eventually made a name for himself with his Salmon Cakes stuffed with Tiger Prawns.

 

Chef Robinson then became more involved with caterers until he began catering his own events. In 2010, Chef Robinson launched his catering business and is the Executive Chef of Specialty Events & Catering. Chef Robinson has catered a number of major events in Chicago and the surrounding areas and can create a menu or dish for any occasion.

Beef Chimmis .......... smoked beef, green chilies and onions in grilled tortillas, topped with enchilada sauce, lettuce and sour cream

Pork Kabobs .......... marinated pork grilled to a light char with garden rice

Chicken Italiano .......... italian seasoned chicken with a zingy balsamic glaze served with rosemary polenta

Sesame Glazed Beef .......... tender seared beef with a sesame glaze
